Medical Front Office Receptionist

Busy behavioral health office seeking friendly, dependable and hard working Medical Front Office Receptionist for a full time position.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Customer service experience (medical office experience is a plus)
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
Must having working knowledge of computer and data entry.

Ability to multitask and work at an fast pace are must.

Previous experience to work for a medical office/hospital is essential.

Working knowledge of EMR and HIPPA also required.

Responsibilities:
Answering phones and assisting clients with scheduling and questions
Managing provider schedules and filling open appointment slots
Checking patients in and out throughout the day
Collecting copays and handling basic financial transactions
Verifying insurance and updating patient information
Communicating with providers and keeping them informed of schedule changes
Completing documentation and working within our EMR system
