Job Description

Front Office Receptionist/Scheduler
Head and Neck Associates is a longstanding single specialty practice with five locations throughout Orange County. We offer an excellent benefit package and a fast paced environment that provides opportunities for career growth!

Duties:
Greets patients and directs them to appropriate departments
Answers multiple phone lines; directs calls and takes messages as needed
Verifies patient information and insurance eligibility; collects payments
Directs patients to complete forms and processes patient-related paperwork
Informs provider’s assistant of no shows and cancellations
Makes follow-up appointments for patients and calls patients to confirm appointments
Contacts “bumped” patients and reschedules appointments as appropriate
Performs various front-office duties in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment, as assigned
Education:
High school degree/GED (preferred) or equivalent experience.

Experience:
Minimum:
Medical Office Experience
Typing 25 wpm
Computer Experience
Preferred:
Experience in medical reception and customer service
Bilingual
Epic Experience highly desired
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Customer service oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate
Able to type 40 wpm.

Detail oriented
Capable of working independently as required
Preferred: Bilingual.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
