Job Description
Spokane Spine Center is looking to add a medical receptionist to our awesome team!
We are a small multi-disciplinary specialty office needing an outgoing, motivated, organized, and dependable team player, who is great with people. Must have a working knowledge of standard medical office functions, insurance verification and prior authorizations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Serves as the primary contact for patient check-in and check-out
· Prepares for appointments by proactively verifying necessary demographic information, insurance, eligibility, referral or authorization status
· Completes patient registration
· Collects copayments and outstanding balances
· Communicates any necessary follow up instructions at the end of the appointment.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Excellent customer service, organization, and the ability to multi-task
· Availability to assist in other departments as needed
· Knowledge of health insurance preferred
-Knowledge of insurance creditialing a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
