We are seeking a dynamic and organized Medical Office Administrator to join our healthcare team! Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism
Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic medical records systems and coordinate provider calendars
Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, confirm appointments, and relay messages promptly
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and insurance information, using electronic medical records software.
Verify insurance coverage, process billing, and assist with claim submissions to ensure timely reimbursements
Manage correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mailings related to patient care and administrative needs
Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, updating medical terminology documentation, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
Proven experience in a medical or dental office environment, preferably as a Medical Office Administrator or Dental Receptionist
Strong knowledge of electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Dentrix
Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology is highly desirable
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient information and schedules
Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and front desk operations in a busy office setting
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies
Ability to communicate in English, Punjabi & Hindi
Prior experience with office management software and administrative tasks in healthcare settings is essential
