Position Para-Medical Receptionist, Full Time, Permanent
Location: 2540 5th Ave NW Calgary
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Position Overview:
We are looking for an individual to join our medical office reception team. Our clinic is a fast- paced environment, with a focused and enthusiastic group of individuals.
JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Clinic Manager, the Para-Medical Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, as well as providing support to our clinical staff
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answering phones, greeting, and registering patients
Responding to patient enquiries in person, by phone and by email.
Escorting patients to exam or treatment rooms and preparing patient files for clinicians
Scheduling and notifying patients of appointments
Scanning patient documents into electronic medical records as required
Completing daily, monthly and weekly chore lists as required
Invoicing, billing and collecting payments
Performing other duties as assigned
Education and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical Office Assistant Qualification is an asset
Able to handle confidential information in compliance with the Health Information Act
Fluent in English; written, verbal, and reading
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of reception/administrative experience
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
