Job Description

Overview

Duties
Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent front desk service and guiding them through check-in procedures
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient flow
Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Health quest or similar electronic health record systems
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to ensure operational efficiency
Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and support clinical staff as needed to facilitate smooth patient visits
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes and emails, with professionalism and confidentiality
Skills
Proficiency in Healthquest electronic medical records systems software is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document patient information
Previous experience as a medical office receptionist or in a dental office environment is preferred
Demonstrated office experience with front desk responsibilities in medical or dental settings
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
Experience operating multi-line phone systems with professionalism and clarity
Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers
