Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Either full time permanent, or temporary, staring from end of July, or full time for 6-7 weeks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Perform insurance verification and ensure accurate patient information is collected.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
Handle clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
Assist with medical collections and billing inquiries as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients
If bilingual, provide bilingual support to enhance patient communication when necessary.
Collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferred.
Familiarity with medical administrative support functions, including Medicare processes.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Proficiency in clerical tasks, including data entry and record management.
