We are a 2 physician practice looking for the right individual to join our healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring their scheduling needs are met efficiently and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Summary of Responsibilities-
- Greet and check-in patients with a friendly and courteous demeanor
- Schedule patient appointments using E-Thomas and EyeMD EMR system
- Verify patient information and insurance details accurately
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks as needed
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
