Job Summary: Performs administrative and general office duties according to the needs of the physicians, Administrator and Practice Managers. The Medical Office Receptionist is responsible for front desk activities including checking patients in & out, confirming appointments, scheduling appointments, collecting fees, customer service, posting & balancing daily work, and answering phones as needed.

Responsibilities:
Greeting all patients, vendors, and external customers.

Registration of current and new patients
Making and rescheduling patient appointments
Collecting office visit fees, copayments, and deductibles from patients.

Posting all payments collected and balancing daily work
Scanning patient charts and other information as needed
Any other tasks assigned by the physicians, administrator, or practice manager
Qualifications:
Education/Skills High School Diploma and medical certification or 2-years of college strongly preferred.

Work Experience: Two years’ experience working in a physician office with preferred experience in front and back office, EMR (specifically Modernizing Medicine ModMed), General IT knowledge, and HIPAA/OSHA/ regulatory compliance.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
