Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly, full-time medical receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy medical office environment. We strongly prefer a bilingual person who is fluent in both ENGLISH and SPANISH.
***Our clinic, located in Midwood, Brooklyn, services children and adults with intellectual disabilities and developmental delays. We provide psychological testing, social work services, physical therapy, speech therapy, ABA, and autism evaluations.***
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Answering phones and e-mails.
Verifying Insurance Eligibility.
Submitting authorization requests for psychological testing.
Assisting patients with completing any necessary forms and checklists.
Experience
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred but not required.
