Job Description
A fast-growing Pediatric office in Fairfax is looking for an energetic and motivated medical receptionist. Bilingual is preferred (Korean/Spanish).
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the manager/supervisor, the medical receptionist performs a variety of tasks.
Essential duties include providing excellent customer/patient services via phone and in person, and referring callers to the appropriate departments.
Making appointments for patients according to established protocols.
Assisting patients/clients with forms.
The position is considered a crucial link between the patient and the care delivered by the clinical and service staff of the practice. The incumbent must work collaboratively with all clinical services staff in support of direct patient services, exhibiting flexibility.
Duties:
Receptionist (Full Time/Part Time):
1. Welcomes patients/visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
2. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment.
3. Room utilization by scheduling appointments.
4. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival or delays; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding.
5. And other related office responsibilities as directed.
