Job Description

The group's medical expertise, which is available at five convenient locations, covers the spectrum of eye care and specialties including: routine eye exams, cataracts, glaucoma, corneal transplants, retina-vitreous care, pediatrics, laser vision correction, and plastic surgery of the eyelids.

We are currently in search of a Medical Receptionist at our Angleton location. Applicant should be dependable and a self-starter. This is an excellent career opportunity for a responsible individual.

Office Hours: M-F 8:15 am- 5:15 pm
Responsibilities
Greet patients upon arrival and answer any questions they may have
Check in patients properly, scanning photo ids and insurance cards into system
Verify patient's demographics are correct
Answer phone calls
Schedule appointments
Verify patient's insurance benefits
Handle incoming and outgoing faxes
Process patient payments
Call patients to remind them of their appointment for the next day
Skills required
Excellent computer skills
Multi-tasking
Bilingual is preferred but not required
Excellent Communication skills
Detail oriented
Quick and efficient
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Drivers License
Must be willing to travel to other locations
Must be able to stay late or come in early if necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
