Job Description
$500 sign-on bonus!! Bi-lingual in Spanish is required.
Kidz1st is a friendly growing pediatric practice seeking an experienced receptionist to cheerfully greet patient families in person and/or by telephone. The hours are 35-40 per week, with flexibility in your schedule extremely helpful. Each receptionist is responsible for closing one late night (7pm) and includes working 1 Saturday a month from 8:00am until Noon. The pay is negotiable and will vary based on front desk experience in a medical setting. Many of our families speak Spanish and we want someone who can help them! We are looking for someone long term to grow with our company! The following job duties include but aren't limited to:
1. Always greet patients with a smile and respect. You are the first face they see or hear.
1. Schedule various types of appointments in a professional manner.
2. Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
3. Handle money coming in/out for office copay's and/or back balances.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
5. Understanding of faxing and scanning documents.
5. Good time management, multi-tasking, and organization is a must.
6. Comfortable with EMR, Multiscreen functionality, and gathering data fast and efficiently.
7. Understanding of Pediatric terminology & well visit schedule preferred but not required
8. Helping our staff and families with translating
Benefits to begin after 90 days of employment. 2 weeks PTO, holiday pay and sick pay. Looking for someone long term and eager to learn and grow within company.
Staff is required to be vaccinated against both influenza and a minimum of 2 boosters of COVID19.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 35.0 per week
