Job Description
Full Time Receptionist
Busy physical therapy clinic looking for full time receptionist. Candidate should have excellent customer service skills, have an eye for detail, be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and a team player. Must be able to communicate well. Knowledge of insurance plans and electronic medical record a plus!
Job duties include, but not limited to:
Register new patients and update existing patient demographics
Answer incoming calls/texts/emails
Schedule patient appointments/collect payments
Verify insurance benefits as well as obtaining and tracking insurance authorizations
Keep medical office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs, placing orders, and monitoring office equipment
Experience
Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis preferred
Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications preferred
Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures preferred
Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred
Key Abilities and Skills
Information collection and management - able to collect, organize and monitor data efficiently
Planning and organizing - able to multitask, prioritize and schedule tasks and activities
Customer service skills - able to develop good customer relationships with a focus on achieving customer satisfaction
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
