Job Description
REQUIRMENTS
High School Diploma
Medical experience preferred
JOB FUNCTIONS:
File/scan documents in patient charts and folders
Assists patients with completing forms
Assists patients with English documents and correspondence
Provides liaison service for transportation problems
Distributes monthly metro cards
Performs duties of Receptionist
Scheduling and coordinating diagnostic and ancillary services as ordered by the physician
Coordinates appointments for patients referred to physician specialists
Facilitates the transfer and admission of patients to hospital as directed by physician
Supervises the medical records filing and maintenance functions
Responsible for the placement and orientation of transient patients
Interfaces with all departments to facilitate the admission of new patients
Acts as interdepartmental liaison
Other duties and responsibilities as directed
Pay: $25.00 per hour
