Medical Receptionist

We are an extremely busy professional Anchorage primary care medical clinic looking for an exceptional front desk/receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone that is motivated to learn, punctual and works well as a team. Said person is also required to be polite and professional to all of our patients and staff.

Front desk job duties include but not limited to:
Answering multi line phone system
Taking detailed messages
Checking patients in and out for appointments
Taking patient payments
Scheduling appointments
Verifying insurances and patient eligibility and Co-Pay information
Calling patients with detailed messages
Faxing
Scanning and attaching documents
Checking daily messages/voicemails
Interacting with pharmaceutical representatives
Detailed documentation in an EHR
Ordering medical and office supplies
Sorting and scanning mail
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
HIPAA compliance
We prefer someone with experience in the medical field, but it is not required.
