Job Description
Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Virginia, has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to support a busy psychology practice in McLean, Virginia.
General Medical Receptionist responsibilities include:
Greeting patients in a friendly manner as they arrive at the office.
Scheduling appointments.
Enter and updating of patient medical records.
Answering the phones, triaging incoming calls, and sending messages through the office electronic medical record.
Contacting insurance companies regarding issues with medical claims.
Sending out patient invoices and other patient correspondence.
Collecting co-pays and other patient payments.
Scheduling appointments.
Checking benefits for office procedures.
Keeping the reception area clean and organized.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Must possess exceptional customer service skills
Must be able to work independently and on a team
Must have problem-solving skills
EMR experience preferred (Pulse and/or ECW)
Professional demeanor
Bi-lingual (Spanish)
