**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have experience in medical or dental office settings and possess strong organizational and communication skills. **Responsibilities:** - Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner - Schedule patient appointments and maintain calendars - Answer phone calls, provide information, and direct calls to appropriate staff - Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries - Maintain patient records and input data accurately into electronic health records system - Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently - Ensure waiting areas are clean and tidy - Assist with administrative tasks as needed **Requirements:** - Proven work experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role - Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and insurance practices - Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and staff - Knowledge of urgent care procedures is a plus - Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment - High school diploma or equivalent required.
