Job Description
We are seeking a full time medical receptionist. This is a fast paced therapy office. Prior experience working in a medical setting is preferred. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual that would like to be part of a friendly team environment.
Experience with insurances is preferred.
Office Hours are between 7:30am - 6:30pm **Required to close the office one night.
Tasks associated with this position may include:
· Scheduling within an EMR system
· Contacting new patients via phone and completing patient registrations
· Obtaining insurance authorizations via websites, phone and fax.
· Following up with insurance companies
· Inputting clear and organized data in our system
· Answering phones, printing documents, and scanning
· Greeting patients at check-in/check-out at window
· Collecting co-payments and establishing payment plans
Candidates should have:
· Excellent customer service and great communication skills
· A high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidential information
· Strong computer skills and confidence navigating between screens
· Strong attention to detail
· The ability to multitask and work well under pressure
