Job Description
We are seeking Medical Receptionists to join our growing team. Full-time, permanent positions of 30-40 hours per week are available. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits. There is the opportunity to work extra hours based on the business needs and your availability.
Our offices are open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday - Sunday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Must have availability two weekends per month.
Responsibilities/requirements:
Greeting patients
Run real-time eligibility (RTE) on all patients to verify insurance and follow out-of-network policies as applicable.
Ability to multitask is a must
Completes other duties assigned by the manager
Cross-training between various departments will take place to ensure coverage
Communicates effectively with others, respects diverse opinions and styles, and acknowledges the assistance and contributions of others
Must be flexible to work within the full hours of operation
Interacts with internal customers to provide excellent support service to staff in departments that provide direct patient care.
Demonstrates the ability to use all computer applications efficiently and to the level required for this position.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
EHR experience
HIPAA privacy knowledge
Must have 1-2 years of medical office experience.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proficiency in computer data entry/typing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to multitask
Customer service-oriented
Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Healthcare finance and/or healthcare insurance experience
Knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting, especially patient scheduling and/or registration
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
