Job Description
MUST BE BILINGUAL
Join our dynamic Pain Management/Physical Therapy clinic as a Medical Receptionist where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional administrative support and patient care. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. Your responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, handling medical records, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor, checking them in and out efficiently.
- Schedule patient appointments using ECW, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and organizing documents.
- Collaborate with the office team to ensure smooth operations and patient flow.
- Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
- Keep the reception area clean and organized to create a welcoming atmosphere.
**Skills:**
- Experience in medical administrative support or similar role within a dental clinic setting.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with ECW or other EHR management software.
- Proficiency in general office tasks and computer systems.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Epic or similar clinic systems is a plus.
