Job Summary:
Retina Consultants of Hawaii has gained the faith and trust of our patients and the referring physicians in Hawaii since 1993 when it was founded. Our physicians are specialized in the medical, surgical and laser treatment of retinal, vitreous and macular diseases. The RCH practice is nationally and internationally recognized for patient care, research and education, and our doctors have helped to pioneer many of the leading treatments and technologies in use today.
Goals of our practice:
To improve the quality of life of our patients by providing compassionate clinical care
To deliver exceptional care by utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment
To provide access to the most current treatment options through our continued participation in national and international clinical retinal research trials.
To deliver this care with the highest standards of ethics and integrity
To be a meaningful community resource for Hawaii by providing a forum for education in retinal diseases
We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented employee to join our team as a Receptionist. We provide on the job training for those without prior experience.
Essential Duties:
Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
Able to demonstrate basic computer skills and learn electronic medical systems
Insurance verification and authorizations
Check in and out of patients
Answer phones and make appointments
Skills Required:
Maintains professionalism in interactions with patients and coworkers
Exhibits a positive attitude and is flexible in accepting work assignments and priorities
Meets attendance, tardiness expectations
Dependable and follows policies and procedures
Computer skills and EMR experience is preferred
Performs quality work and displays RCH mission and core values in all aspects of their job
