Medical Receptionist/Front Desk

Medical Front Desk Receptionist (Full-Time)
Laser Spine Center of Chicago is seeking an experienced Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy specialty practice in Orland Park, IL.

This is a full-time position for a motivated individual who is organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced medical office.

Schedule
Monday through Friday 35 hours per week.

No evenings or weekends
Responsibilities
Patient check-in and check-out
Appointment scheduling
Insurance verification and benefits verification
Obtain insurance prior authorizations
Process referrals when required
Collect patient copays and outstanding balances
Scan and maintain patient records in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
Assist the physician and management with administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of medical front desk experience
Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is strongly preferred
Experience obtaining insurance prior authorizations and verifying benefits
Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, and workers’ compensation preferred
Strong computer skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy specialty practice
