Summary
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team at IVVC, a fast pace Vascular Surgery office. This role is vital in managing patient interactions and maintaining accurate medical records while supporting our commitment to outstanding patient care and clear communication regarding vascular health.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and manage the check-in process efficiently.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.
Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up visits.
Handle medical coding for insurance claims accurately.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and inquiries.
Utilize Meditech software for managing patient information and records.
Ensure the office environment is organized and welcoming.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and health information management.
Familiarity with medical coding practices, including ICD-10.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in office software; experience with Meditech is a plus.
