Job description
The eye care practice in Dunwoody is looking for a medical receptionist. Must have experience with optical and medical billing codes, enjoy working with people, have a friendly and upbeat personality. Duties would include making appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and checking patients out.
Requirements:
Have a cheery, upbeat disposition in all situations
Impeccable customer service skills in person and on the telephone
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Be able to multi-task is essential
Be familiar with multi-line phone systems, faxing, and copy machines
Previous eye care billing experience required
Excellent writing skills
Punctual and attend work daily
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Starting at $23/hour, based on experience and qualifications. Candidates with prior experience in eye care billing or higher qualifications will be considered for higher starting pay.
