REP Physio is looking for a friendly, capable and dependable Medical Receptionist / Medical Office Assistant to join our busy Westbrook clinic.

This is an important front-desk role. You'll be one of the first people our patients interact with, while helping keep the schedules, billing and day-to-day operations of the clinic running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, stays organized when things get busy, and is comfortable taking initiative rather than always waiting to be told what to do.

Previous healthcare or medical office experience is preferred, but we're also open to candidates with strong administrative or reception experience in another busy professional environment.

What You'll Do
Welcome patients and create a friendly, professional first impression
Book and manage appointments for multiple practitioners
Answer phones, emails and patient questions
Process payments and direct insurance billing
Assist with WCB and MVA claims and documentation
Maintain accurate electronic patient records
Manage cancellations, waitlists and schedule changes
Communicate with insurers and other healthcare offices
Support our practitioners and administrative team
Help keep a busy clinic organized and running smoothly

Comfortable learning new software and processes
Someone who takes pride in providing excellent service
Experience in a physiotherapy, medical, chiropractic, dental, massage, optometry or multidisciplinary healthcare clinic would be a strong asset.

Experience with Practice Perfect or another EMR, TELUS Health/direct billing, WCB or MVA claims is especially valuable and will be considered when determining starting wage.
