Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator
Blue Valley Vision of Overland Park
Pay: $17.00–$22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
Blue Valley Vision is a growing, patient-focused optometry practice serving the Overland Park community. We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and highly organized Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.

What You'll Do
Greet patients and create a welcoming experience
Answer incoming phone calls and assist with scheduling
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
Manage patient communications, emails, texts, and faxes
Occasional payment collection and process transactions
Assist with appointment confirmations and recall scheduling
Maintain accurate patient records
Support front office operations and patient flow
Help patients navigate their insurance benefits and appointment needs
What We're Looking For
Customer experience in either healthcare, medical reception, optometry, dental fields is required
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Positive, professional attitude
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
Comfortable using computers and web-based software
Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
