Medical Receptionist-PART TIME

Part-Time position for a Medical Office Receptionist with a Family Practice in Whitehall, PA. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a wide range of administrative duties. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment for all visitors. Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and collect necessary documentation for appointments and procedures. Schedule patient appointments efficiently using electronic health record (EHR). Verify insurance benefits and perform insurance verification to ensure accurate billing and claims processing. Manage front desk operations including filing and scanning of medical documents. Ensure confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA standards while providing excellent patient service. Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office administrative support role; clinic or dental office experience preferred. Good knowledge of EMR/EHR systems. Ability to verify insurance benefits accurately and perform Medicare/Medicare-related tasks effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, documentation review, and office tasks. Work Location: In person
