Medical Receptionist - Pediatric Office

A Well-established pediatric clinic is looking for a QUALIFIED medical front desk person. Must be well organized and have the capacity to multitask in a hectic setting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people while being professional and friendly. Candidates must be proficient with computers and have the following skills:
· Must be detailed oriented and be committed to reaching consistently high levels of client satisfaction. Will be responsible for gathering comprehensive patient data, including financial and personal data, to register new patients and update demographics for current patients.
· Must be flexible, have a team spirit, and be eager to learn. Possessing outstanding customer service abilities.
· Must be detail oriented. Able to complete tasks with all the specifics required to complete the work successfully.
· Facilitates the flow of patients by alerting the physician's assistant or other provider when a patient arrives, staying informed of any delays, and interacting with patients and clinical staff.

Have knowledge and understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes, medical terminology, pre-authorization and insurance verification and health insurance. Must be able to collect copays, balances, deductibles, and coinsurance.

Assist in the administration of office supplies and equipment by inspecting stock to assess inventory levels, planning ahead for required supplies, and informing the office manager of any equipment maintenance or supply needs.

Pediatric Office experience is a PLUS
The ability to effectively communicate, multi-task, and operate under pressure is the key to success in this position.
