Medical Receptionist (Full-Time) – Shelton, CT
Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut is seeking a poised, professional Medical Receptionist to join our Shelton office. This is a key front-facing role for someone who takes pride in delivering a refined, seamless patient experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.
As the first point of contact, you set the tone for each patient visit, delivering a balance of warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail while supporting the flow of the practice.

We are a privately owned dermatology group with nine locations, known for providing high-quality, patient-focused care. Our team is committed to maintaining a welcoming, well-run environment where both patients and staff feel supported. Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and courtesy
Accurately collect and verify insurance and demographic information
Manage incoming calls with efficiency and discretion
Coordinate and maintain provider schedules
Triage patient needs and communicate effectively with clinical staff
Process payments with accuracy and attention to detail
Schedule
Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays offered.
Qualifications
Strong computer proficiency, including scheduling and data entry systems
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy environment
Clear, professional communication skills
A polished, patient-focused approach to service
