Medical Receptionist

Compassionate Family Medicine is hiring for dependable Medical Receptionists for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions. We are hiring at all five of our office locations - Green St., Court St., N. Syracuse, Baldwinsville, and Cicero.

Responsibilities
Answer high volumes of incoming patient phone calls
Maintain low voicemail queues and return patient calls
Schedule and manage patient appointments
Check patients in and or out for their appointments
Verify insurance and update patient information
Collect copays and balances
Document patient interactions in the EMR system
Assist with provider schedules and last‑minute changes
Maintain HIPAA compliance
Provide professional and respectful patient service
Take ownership of patient interactions from start to resolution
Schedule
Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
Part-time approximately 20-30 hours per week
Monday–Friday shifts with occasional Saturday coverage
Rotating schedules based on operational needs
Coverage may occasionally be required at any of our five locations
Qualifications
Prior medical receptionist experience strongly preferred
EMR experience strongly preferred (Medent experience preferred)
Experience handling high-volume phone environments
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable and punctual
Fluent in English required
Bilingual or multilingual is a plus
