Job Description
NOTE:
This position is full-time, with weekly travel between our Traverse City and Kalkaska offices. Occasional travel to our Cadillac office will be expected.

The following is required for this position:
Phone Operator Experience (preferred, not required)
Medical Receptionist Experience (preferred, not required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Timeliness
Organization skills
Ability to learn new software
Considerable attention to detail
Ability to multitask
A genuine interest in improving patient's quality of life
Some duties for this position include:
Provide a live call atmosphere to meet patients' needs and direct them to the appropriate department during business hours
Answer basic scheduling questions
Perform other clerical duties as necessary
Answer/Triage patient phone calls
Verify and update patient demographics, HIPAA and insurance information
Collect past due balances, co-pays and out-of-pocket charges as necessary
Appointment scheduling
