Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Medical Secretary/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your energetic approach will help manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and handle administrative tasks efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care while utilizing your office and medical administrative skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression for the practice
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Verify patient information, insurance details, and update electronic medical records using systems
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments with precision and professionalism
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes, emails, and mail
Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive medical information
Assist with administrative tasks such as billing support, data entry, and inventory management in the office
Skills
Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with healthcare providers and patients
Experience working as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly desirable
Prior medical or dental office experience that demonstrates familiarity with front desk operations
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and records
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a busy environment
Effective communication skills to interact confidently with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
