Job Description
Seeking a Full Time Mental Health Receptionist for the BCHP Mental counseling office. We are open to hybrid remote and in person candidates, candidates must be located in the tri state (New York, Connecticut, or New Jersey) area to be considered for this opportunity.
Pay rate will be approx. $20/hr-$22/hr, negotiable based on experience. Candidates must have a medical or mental health office background, NextGen EHR experience is a plus. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm, and Friday 8:00am-2:00pm, no weekends and we offer paid holidays.

Job responsibilities:
Answer telephones, emails, schedule and follow-up in a timely manner
Manage all staff clinical schedules, which includes appointments, cancellations, and will-call lists
Handle check ins and check outs for all clients
Handle all office scanning, updating, and filing medical records into client charts
Handle cash and co-payments accurately and responsibly
Provide outstanding customer service to every client
Inform therapists of received calls, paperwork, and client inquiries, etc
Assist director in management of office waitlist
Process medical insurance information, verifying patient eligibility, and addressing any patient questions about insurance (liaise with Billing department as appropriate)
Perform all duties assigned by management
