Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our healthcare team and work alongside our current MOA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional front desk support, manage electronic medical records, and assist with administrative tasks in a busy medical office setting whilst supporting several physicians in the clinic. This role requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and experience using EMR software such as Oscar Pro. The MOA will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in/check-out procedures at the front desk
Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and reschedule as needed
Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries and direct calls appropriately
Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Oscar Pro
Prepare patient charts, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
Support clinical staff by handling administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and data entry
Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and other healthcare professionals
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Requirements
Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant, Dental Receptionist, or in a similar healthcare administrative role
Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Oscar Pro
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience managing multi-line phone systems in a busy office environment
Familiarity with dental or medical office software and practice management tools
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Prior office experience in a healthcare setting as well as MOA course completion is highly desirable
