This is an excellent opportunity for a recent dental school graduate looking to build confidence, clinical speed, and hands-on surgical experience in a supportive practice environment.

We are specifically seeking a dentist who is interested in providing oral surgery care 1–2 days per week, including extractions and other routine surgical procedures. You will work alongside an experienced dental team while treating a steady flow of patients and gaining valuable experience in a busy clinical setting.

This role is ideal for a motivated new graduate who wants to develop their surgical skills while practicing comprehensive general dentistry in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
Provide oral surgery services 1–2 days per week, with an emphasis on routine and surgical dental extractions
Evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment based on medical history, clinical findings, and diagnostic imaging
Perform routine and surgical extractions with a focus on safe, efficient, and comfortable patient care
Provide other general dentistry services as appropriate to your training and experience
Review treatment options with patients and clearly explain procedures, risks, benefits, and post-operative instructions
Manage patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, including appropriate use of nitrous oxide
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice software
Follow established infection-control, sterilization, HIPAA, and patient-safety protocols
Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and the rest of the clinical team to keep patient care moving efficiently
Deliver a positive patient experience while working effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume practice
Ideal Candidate
We are especially interested in candidates who are recent dental school graduates or early-career dentists who want to develop their oral surgery skills.

The ideal candidate is:
A licensed dentist in the state of California with a specialized Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) permit
Comfortable performing or eager to develop skills in dental extractions
Interested in dedicating 1–2 clinical days per week to oral surgery
Motivated to become more efficient and confident in a high-volume environment
Comfortable working as part of a collaborative dental team
Patient-focused, dependable, and eager to learn
Comfortable discussing treatment plans and post-operative care with patients
Familiar with digital dental records and practice-management software; Eaglesoft experience is a plus
Knowledgeable about infection control, patient safety, medical history review, and appropriate nitrous oxide use
