We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures including dental extractions, dental implants, and management of impacted teeth
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and diagnostic imaging interpretation
Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patients’ needs and healthcare regulations
Utilize aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during procedures
Collaborate with general dentists, specialists, and healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care
Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
Educate patients on post-operative care, treatment options, and preventive oral health strategies
Use dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans clearly to patients and team members
Requirements
Valid license or certification as an Oral Surgeon in accordance with state licensing boards
Proven experience in oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and dental implants
Proficiency with dental practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards
Ability to perform procedures using aseptic techniques while maintaining patient comfort and safety
Excellent client communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient care
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties is preferred
Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards
Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment with a commitment to quality care
