Position: Part-Time Oral SurgeonSchedule: 1–2 days per month (flexible, with growth potential)Location: Marion,Massachusetts

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide expert surgical care, including complex dental extractions, implant placements, and other advanced oral procedures.

Your expertise will ensure patients receive top-tier treatment in a compassionate and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in oral surgery, excellent patient care skills, and a passion for improving oral health outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive oral surgical procedures including:
Surgical and impacted extractions
Wisdom teeth removal
Dental implant placement
Bone grafting and pre-prosthetic surgery
Conduct pre-operative patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and explaining treatment options clearly
Utilize advanced dental imaging to diagnose and plan surgical interventions
Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
Collaborate with general dentists and team members to ensure seamless patient care
Prepare detailed documentation and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA
Educate patients on post-operative care, risks, and recovery to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements
DDS/DMD with accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training
Active Massachusetts dental license
Proven experience in oral surgery procedures including extractions and implant placement
Proficiency in dental software systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic or similar)
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, surgical techniques, and infection control standards
Excellent communication skills with ability to educate and reassure patients
Commitment to high-quality care and patient-centered approach
Ability to treat a diverse patient population, including pediatric cases when needed
