Compensation

$50,000 Sign-On Bonus

Compensation Model: $550,000 annual guarantee or 35% of collections (whichever is greater)

Expected Annual Earnings: $550,000–$1,000,000+

Gifted Equity up to $300,000

Bethesda Chevy Chase Oral Surgery, in partnership with SALT Dental Partners, is excited to open a brand-new Oral Surgery suite in Silver Spring, Maryland, in August 2026.

We're seeking a Full-Time Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to lead this state-of-the-art practice and serve an established referral network of pediatric and orthodontic offices throughout the region.

Position Overview

This is a full-time (5 days per week) opportunity for an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while building a thriving surgical practice.

You'll provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical services to patients referred by partner practices as well as the surrounding community.

Responsibilities

Perform the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, including:

Routine and surgical tooth extractions

Dental implant placement

Bone grafting procedures

Exposure and bonding of impacted teeth

Diagnosis and management of oral pathology and infections

IV sedation and anesthesia administration

Orthognathic and facial trauma procedures (optional, based on your interests)

Additional responsibilities include:

Evaluate and diagnose patients using CBCT and digital imaging

Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans

Collaborate closely with referring dentists, orthodontists, and pediatric dentists

Maintain the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence

Lead and mentor the clinical team in a growing surgical practice

Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation

Qualifications

DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school

Completion of a CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency

Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Active Maryland dental license (or ability to obtain)

Maryland sedation permit (or ability to obtain)

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Excellent clinical, communication, and leadership skills

Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care
