We are looking for a motivated and reliable Surgical & Anesthesia Assistant to join our oral surgery team. Experience in a dental or medical setting is helpful but not required. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule & Practice Details:
Monday–Friday schedule availability required
Standard schedule is four 10-hour days; flexibility may occasionally be required
Typical clinic hours are 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., depending on the surgical schedule
Must be willing to travel between our three office locations: Lakewood, Denver, and Littleton.
Compensation & Certification Support:
Hourly range: $25-$28, depending on experience and certifications
We support professional growth and development
DAANCE certification and phlebotomy training may be offered after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the doctor during oral surgery procedures such as extractions, implants, grafting, and other surgical treatments
Supporting IV sedation and anesthesia procedures, including patient monitoring, documentation, and room preparation
Preparing and turning over surgical rooms between patients
Maintaining sterilization protocols for surgical instruments and equipment
Assisting with pre-operative and post-operative patient education
Helping with treatment plans, surgical consents, and clinical charting
Supporting inventory organization for surgical supplies and medications
Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Assisting the team in emergency preparedness and safety protocols
Qualifications:
You will be required to possess the following:
Six (6) or more months of practical experience as a dental assistant.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (Preferred).
Quick learner with problem solving skills
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records,
scheduling, etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
