Oral Surgery Assistant
Our Campbell oral and maxillofacial surgery practice is seeking an experienced, motivated, and professional Surgical Dental Assistant. Our established oral surgery practice is committed to providing excellent patient care and is looking for someone who shares this common goal. Must possess the skill of clinical procedures, processes, and sterilization protocols.
This job requires reliability, dependability, and excellent communication skills. We value experience but are also willing to train the right person to be a part of our team.
Hard working and enthusiastic about learning
Punctual and reliable on a daily basis
Friendly, caring and able to be a team player
Pay will be commensurate to experience.
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in surgical and sterilization procedures
Setting up and breaking down surgical trays
Taking and recording vitals
Greeting and seating patients
Taking dental x-rays and digital intra oral scans
Keeping consultation rooms, operatories, and sterilization areas maintained and well stocked
Provide clear and thorough post-operative instructions to patients and escorts
Requirements
-At least 1 year of dental work experience
- CPR certified
- Hep B vaccination
- Tetanus vaccination
