Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Oral Surgery Assistant to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for individuals with prior dental, surgical, or medical assisting experience.
Job Summary:
The Oral Surgery Assistant provides chairside and clinical support to the Oral Surgeon and Clinical team. Responsibilities include preparing operatories, organizing surgical trays and instruments, sterilizing equipment, assisting during surgical procedures, supporting patients before and after surgery, and performing dental diagnostic x-rays.
Full-time hours-38-40 hours/week (with at least 50 % standing)
Experience: Prior surgical, dental, or medical assisting preferred
Certification:
Current Dental Radiography (X-Ray) Certification preferred, or
Must obtain X-Ray Certification within 30 days of hire
Current CPR certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
Special Skills: Demonstrates the ability to work with interruptions and adapt to changing priorities. Basic computer and keyboarding skills preferred. Demonstrates excellent service behaviors.
