Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, dependable Oral Surgery Assistant to work alongside an oral surgeon who provides care at multiple dental offices throughout the Milwaukee area.
Rather than working in one location every day, this role travels with the surgeon to partner dental offices and helps create a consistent, efficient surgical experience wherever procedures are performed.
This is a great fit for someone who is organized, adaptable, comfortable working in different clinical environments, and enjoys taking ownership of the surgical workflow.
Our practice focuses on tooth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgery procedures. The ideal candidate is confident in surgical assisting, anticipates the doctor’s needs, communicates well with different office teams, and is interested in a long-term position with room for increased responsibility and compensation.
Responsibilities
Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, including extractions, implant placements, and IV sedation cases
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Support patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
Follow infection control and OSHA protocols
Assist with IV sedation workflow and phlebotomy training as applicable
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
