Duties
Prepare treatment rooms with sterile instruments and supplies, ensuring aseptic technique is maintained throughout all procedures
Assist the oral surgeon during surgeries by handing instruments, managing suction, and monitoring patient comfort and vital signs
Operate dental imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images for surgical planning
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records securely
Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care instructions, emphasizing infection control and proper healing techniques
Qualifications
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques is a plus. Willing to train medical assistants.
Familiarity with dental imaging technology
Ability to perform chairside assisting with precision while maintaining a positive patient experience
