Job Description
Currently in need of an ORAL SURGERY ASSISTANT This individual must have experience in ORAL SURGERY /SEDATION Current CPR Certification is required. As well as X-ray certification.

ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE WORKED IN AN ORAL SURGICAL PRACTICE AS A CLINICAL ASSISTANT NEED APPLY
PLEASE LIVE WITHIN 20 miles of Fredericksburg, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat patients with confidence and assurance .
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
- Assist the Oral Surgeon during procedures by passing instruments and suctioning as well as consultations and post operative checks.
- Placing surgical monitors, recording vital signs as well as recovering surgical patients
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient procedures,consults and post operative appointments.
- Take digital x-rays and CBCT's.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for sterilization.
- Document patient information, surgical procedures, and other medical health issues
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in an ambulatory surgery center/Oral Surgery /Dental .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
-Possess manual dexterity for assisting with the ability of lifting 25 pounds.
