Oral Surgery Assistant

We are looking for a caring oral surgery assistant to join our growing practice. You will be joining a fun, competent team that works well together.

Responsibilities
Assist in preparing patients and their families for surgery
Assist the surgeon in surgeries
Clean and sterilize equipment following strict guidelines
Acquire and review patient histories
Become proficient with OMS Vision practice management software
Obtain radiographs
Skills
Proven work experience as a surgery assistant is preferred but not mandatory as we can train you on the job if you have a DAI or DAII certificate
Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
Caring and compassionate
Team player with good communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
Spanish (not required) (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Registered Dental Assistant I or II Certificate (Required)
NC X-Ray Certification (Required)
Ability to Commute:
Summerfield, NC 27358 (Required)
