Job Summary
We are looking for an outgoing, self-motivated, enthusiastic orthodontic appointment coordinator with outstanding customer service skills. We consider our office to be our home away from home and we are excited about welcoming a new member to our orthodontic family!
Patient care and customer service are our #1 priority and must be yours too! Dental appointment coordinator experience is mandatory, orthodontic experience and Spanish speaking are a plus. Must be willing to commute between office locations.
The Appointment Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating appointments within a our office. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to ensure smooth scheduling and patient satisfaction.
Duties
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately
- Coordinate with dental providers to optimize appointment availability
- Manage patient records and update necessary information in dental systems
- Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information
- Assist in maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
- Collaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure seamless patient flow
Requirements
- Proficiency in dental terminology
- Experience in dental insurance plans
- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a dental/orthodontic office
