Orthodontic Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our orthodontist in providing quality orthodontic care to patients.

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures

- Assist orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments

- Take dental X-rays

- Maintain patient records and documentation

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices

- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Handle general dentistry tasks as needed

- Utilize medical terminology and coding for accurate documentation

- Assist with pediatric patients in a caring and compassionate manner

- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care
Skills

- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures

- Knowledge of dental terminology and coding

- Experience with infection control protocols

- Familiarity with general dentistry practices

- Ability to work with pediatric patients effectively

- Competency in using Cloud 9 or similar dental systems for documentation

- Strong organizational skills for managing patient records efficiently

- Capability in four-handed dentistry techniques for procedural assistance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
