Orthodontic Assistant (CDA Level II with Ortho Module)

We’re seeking a Certified Level II Dental Assistant with an Orthodontic Module to join our dynamic Danforth team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver orthodontic clinical care as directed by the Orthodontist, including:
Bonding, repositioning, and repairing brackets
Removing wires and ligatures
Debonding brackets and removing excess cement
Retainer insertions and appliance checks
Cementing bands and appliances
Provide oral hygiene instruction specific to orthodontic patients
Capture digital scans, x-rays, and intra/extra-oral photos
Complete accurate charting and documentation in PMS
Follow all clinical protocols, including IPAC and Health & Safety
Support overall clinic workflow and patient experience
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant Level II
Completion of a recognized Orthodontic Module / Supplemental Course
Previous orthodontic experience preferred
Strong communication and patient management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
Experience with digital scanning (iTero or similar) is an asset
Professional, positive, and patient-centered approach
