Orthodontic Assistant

Job description:
Jackson Orthodontics provides excellent orthodontic care in both the Charlotte, NC and Fort Mill, SC areas. We are seeking a clinical assistant to become part of a team that provides excellence in orthodontic dental care. We focus on quality, service and patient satisfaction; the ideal candidate should as well.

The Orthodontic Assistant will provide clinical support to the orthodontist to facilitate the relationship between the patient and the orthodontist, increase the efficiency of delivering quality orthodontic care and maintain communication between the orthodontist, patient and administrative staff to insure a positive patient experience. Dental or orthodontic chairside experience is preferred. Ability to travel between our Charlotte (28273 Steele Creek Area) office and our Fort Mill office REQUIRED.

Responsibilities:
Chair side assisting;
Taking comprehensive images (x-rays; oral scans; etc.)
Orthodontic impressions;
Provide instructions to patients and provide education on proper dental hygiene; and
Sterilization duties as needed.
